- Count car seats before you count seats. Florida law requires them for young children and providers rent them for a daily fee.
- Theme-park parking is charged per day per vehicle, separately from the rental.
- A minivan or three-row SUV is often the difference between one trip and two when a group has park gear.

If you are staying on a resort with its own transport and never leaving, possibly not. For multiple parks, outlets and restaurants, it usually is.
Most providers offer them for a daily fee, subject to availability. Reserve it with the car rather than at the counter.
A midsize SUV works for five with modest luggage; a minivan is more comfortable once strollers are involved.
