- The I-75/I-85 connector through downtown is congested well beyond the usual rush hours.
- Georgia’s Peach Pass express lanes are toll-based; confirm how the provider handles them.
- If your trip is mostly north of the perimeter, a suburban pick-up can save an hour of driving on day one.
Atlanta rental questions
The SkyTrain connects the domestic terminal to the Rental Car Center directly.
MARTA covers the airport and central corridor well. Everything else in the metro is realistically a driving trip.
Interstate travel is normally allowed. Check the provider’s geographic restrictions if you are heading far.
