Economy Car Rental
Economy is the smallest mainstream category most US providers list — two-door or small four-door cars built for low fuel consumption and easy parking.

What the Economy class covers
It is the right pick when the trip is short, the group is two people, and the luggage is carry-on sized. It is the wrong pick when four adults each bring a full suitcase, because the boot will not take it regardless of what the seat count says.
Providers group specific models into this class rather than guaranteeing one. You are booking a category, not a particular car, unless the provider explicitly says otherwise.

Why choose it
- Lowest fuel consumption of the standard categories, which matters on long interstate legs.
- Easiest to park in dense downtown areas and older parking structures.
- Usually the widest availability, so more flexibility on short-notice dates.
Common use cases
- Solo business trips
- City weekends for two
- Short airport-to-hotel transfers
- Budget-led longer drives

These are examples of the class, not an inventory list. US rental providers assign a vehicle from the booked class at pick-up — which is why every listing reads "or similar". American Drive does not hold vehicles and cannot guarantee any specific model.
Availability: American Drive does not hold inventory. Whether a Economy vehicle is available for your dates depends entirely on the participating providers — run a search to find out.
